I think this from the World Cup 1990 takes some beating.

Brazil were all over Argentina in this game, but once again Maradona did something special.

I almost forgot that he got to the final in 1990, for me still the greatest player of all time. It was definitely a different game back then, tackling and marking wise.

Well, England have scored three goals in the last 50 years of World Cup Semi Finals with one goal and one assist by a Fulham Player. https://youtu.be/YEwlBC7pq6s

This one from Rooney deserves an honourable mention for level of effort required.

I also like the fact that the eventual goalscorer got away with a cheeky foul to help prevent an attacker join in the counter attack. Keep an eye on the edge of the area as the break starts.

All those wonderful long through balls made by Haynes that resulted in Fulham goals, particularly the ones to the pacey Jezzard.
However that is a long time ago and not many of us left to remember them.

That Rooney one is actually rather brilliant, had not seen that before.

And, yes Brazil 70, I was thinking about that one, so beautiful.

Diego still the best for me though.

Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.
