That England team must now start picking up awards for the rest of the year, I am thinking in particular of BBC Sports Personality of The Year and a number of knighthoods surely.

Well done England but a really tough way to lose. I suppose there has to be a winner but to my mind they shared the spoils.

In the circumstances, it feels quite a hollow victory, tbh.

Not hollow, no. We won and i'm delighted.  I am just recognising that we beat a very decent and sporting team by the narrowest of margins. It was a great final and a fantastic advert for the game of cricket.
