In the old days

Back in the 1960's and possibly the early 60's the managers sat in dug outs on the Stevenage road stand. They were moved for several reasons 1 in those days there were no substitutes 2 only 1 physio 3 The sun shone straight into the coaches eyes for a good part of the first half. Now each team bring a huge team with them so they are housed on the opposite side. Would it be better to have one teams dugout on one side of the pitch and the other team opposite to lessen possible conflict
