With Arthur slotting into Midfield to replace Kmac why not try Kmac at centre half.
I know that he might have slowed down a bit but he can still read the game. He can head the ball, pass the ball to his team mates and can put in a good tackle ( although sometimes a bit reckless).

It looks as if we are going to be wanting at the back so why not try Kmac.

I think KMac has lost his legs to be honest so would struggle as a CB. He just looks off the pace but if we're in a pickle, it could be worth a try.

Why are we assuming Artur will replace KMac? My understanding is that Artur is a box to box midfielder not defensive mid.

As the Duke of Wellington felt  just because you were born in a stable that does not make you a horse -
Harry is as Irish as any of the diaspora. Reasonable signing played at a higher level more effectively as any of our current midfield ever have, has a bit of the dog about him which we desperately need in midfield

KMac is too slow. He'd make for a useful sub to help us keep the ball when winning and calm the team but not a starter  for me.

I think we play Arter and SteffJo as a two, one holds, one goes, they are both capable of holding and also box to box.

I think Kmac at center half may well be a brilliant move. If it doesn't work wee have not lost anything but I recall cusack joined as a center forward and was poor but when moved to sweeper/center half he was immaculate. This should be an easier switch and he did it before on occasions and seemed OK to me.
