The harsh realities of reaching the promised land, Villa 9/1 to win at Spurs & Norwich 22/1 to win at Anfield.  Perhaps they'll surprise us?

All the teams promoted have a strong chance of being relegated just because they either have last years championship squad or a bunch of new players. In theory, after getting relegated bouncing back up should be easy and many countries have yo-yo teams between two wildly different divisions.

English Premier League to Championship seems to be the exception where going down seems to destroy what worked before creating a toxic blame culture and a team keeping a clean sheet against Everton is now struggling against Barnsley. Very few teams seem to be like WBA bouncing back up three times in eight years, and those that do seem to bounce up are general those that have the least blame going down.

The harsh realities of our fall from grace:

- This time last year bookies  favourites against Palace on the opening day

- 12 months later we're  losing to a newly promoted Barnsley on the opening day in the championship

And last year we lost to palace so what let's move on

We did move on back down the snake to the Championship.

You win some, you lose some. What matters is how you play the game.

it's always tough when you step up but with good management and intelligent additions to the squad survival is perfectly possible. Wolves did Ok. But IMO the second season can often be more of an issue.

In our case we had no chance from day pne because we did not have intelligent additions and were sabotaged by our leadership being arrogant and unqualified.
