Looking at the pic on the offal, there's very little clearance between the bottom of the platform and the water level. When the river is in full spate and on an incoming tide, it will get swamped. :023:
Anyone know if the platform is supposed to rise with the water level?

Thinking they're taking a risk and hoping the tide changes stop.

I think we were hoping to sign Canute before the deadline.

They have the ability to go up and down, like on a ratchet.
Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.

Exactly, just like a boat tied up. Amazingly Oil platforms float.

I found the Marine Management Organisation report https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/fulham-football-club-new-riverside-stand but it doesn't mention this. I hope the platform does go up and down on the piles. I know oil rigs float but their legs go a lot deeper underwater.

They actually make reference to jacked platform.i believe it is fixed to the river bed when in use though for stability and move up according to the tide situation.

The season ticket for the new stands will be delivered in a large parcel that will include Wellies.
