Yes it has to be Tim Ream, calmly marshalled the defence well, and covered his full back, and his passing was accurate and constructive.

I thought Sess looked very promising but he did get caught out sometimes, especially with his yellow card. So not my MOTM.

The front 3 looked very exciting at times with some absolute sublime moves, Mitrovic did as always a really good job holding the ball up, but lacked some determination in the penalty area at times. Cav was a live wire all thorughout the game and is probably MOTM for me, especially for getting the goal in the end. Knockaert had some really good spells but also frustrating at times: staying offside during a counter attack when Cav was running with the ball, and also not passing Cairney in the six yard box instead opting for a shot.

Arter had some really great moments, but a bit sloppy with passes at times. Same can be said about Mawson. Bryan/Sess looked good.

Voted for Mitro as  he wa laying off some lovely balls, good to see. But saying that it could have been Knockhaert, SS, TC who did another week with a high pass rate and some lovely through balls.
It is always good when you can pick any of 6/7 players for MOTM.

Betts, Sess. Mawson, Ream. Bryan, Cairney, Johanson, Arter, Caveliero,  Mitro, Knockeart.
 I only watched the highlights and can't separate them, they all did well.

However I would agree with the choice of Sess. Lets give him encouragement in the hope that the match was the start of a number of good performances throughout the season.

Sess for me. Great game.

Even after the booking, which was silly but he'll learn from that, he kept his cool, grew into the game and linked up better with Knock 2nd half.

I'd make him the starter from now on.
