Cav’s two goals would normally breeze it, but for me young Steven’s performance was breathtaking.

I really wanted to give my vote to Sess but I don´t want it to go to his head so early in his 1st team career. I voted for Cav in the end for his 2 great goals. Difficult to leave anyone out as it was a complete all round performance.

Cavaleiro looking like night and day since he got his first goal. Looking very assured now.

Difficult decision.....But our Captain gets it by a nose.
Thought his decision making and passing was superb tonight...

The front line is scary, the midfield is playing with some grit and the back line is rounding into a very formidable one. Things are good in SW6.

I think I like Steven better than Ryan! I'd love to hear the telephone call the two lads had after the match. Still, i wish they both were on the pitch.

Knockheart never stopped running. Sess, Cav..  you could make a motm case for most out there tonight.
What a performance!?

Only saw the brief highlights on Quest, but Cav scored a cracker, scored another and had an assist. Also looks like a good fella to have in the changing room. So Cav for me.

On Quest they were saying we have a formidable forward line, but the guy who they picked out was Arter for bringing it all together for the team

I voted cav 2 goals and his speed passing was a stand out, I hope the decision is that difficult every week, they were all extremely good.

I have not voted yet as it could be anyone on the pitch, the pass by TC for Cav's second was sublime. Interesting to see what the media and Sky say about tomorrow, bit it was worthy of all the great number 10s.

Stunning performance agree with all the above. However, thought I'd add a shout out for Stefan Johansen. Very happy when we 'reclaimed; him from WBA & he's starting to emulate the form of 2 years back. That said, could have spotlighted any of our team tonight = simply outstanding.

Do you have a MotM for a kick-about? When's our game against Millwall, that physical team that keeps running and puts stress on our defence through high balls to their big target man? Practically our whole team could be the MotM. Ream touched the ball more than anyone, but Cav gets my nod.

There was a pregame video where the team was walking into the grounds from the bus...Joe Bryan was slightly behind Cav...slightly tripped one of his legs...Cav didn't stop walking but turned around with a "what the hell" look on his face...and Joe just kept on smiling.   :003:

I think this may be a really tight nit group.

Outstanding all round performance.

Cav has great belief now and will get better.
Arter was good as usual but didn't have as much to do in a defensive MF role as they couldn't get the ball.

But the unsung hero for me was StefJo. Awesome performance for me tonight.

So many good performances. Betts untroubled (apart from a couple of high balls).  Ream once again outstanding, Mawson improving and very solid last night.  Cearney's passing of the highest quality again. Knockaert's skill, endeavour and commitment were first rate. Steven's performance was very assured, and very confident on the ball. Bryan hardly put a foot wrong. Arter full of energy and helping us keep a good shape. Mitro being Mitro. I also thought Johansen was very involved and worked his socks off. But how can you see past two great goals and an assist for Cavaleiro?
