So, contrary to what some in the media were claiming (*cough* Ryan O'Donovan *cough*), according to the club website the new assistant manager is not Scott Parker rather Paolo Benetti.

Although I've never heard of Paolo I'm secretly buzzing Parker wasn't given the role.

Carlo Cornacchia's background is interesting... was an Assistant Coach with Ranieri at Nantes, but before that he had been entirely in the United States coaching youth soccer in Colorado after his professional career ended.

I know nothing about the guy but I have been very impressed with young USA based coaches. I'm sure a few will break through into very big European roles. Technically, they seem very good
