NFR: Carshalton Athletic
« on: November 07, 2019, 10:05:11 PM »
Haven't been down the War Memorial for a few years but notice they've made it through to the first round proper of the FA Cup.  Anyone cheering on the Robins this weekend?  If so, any idea what sort of crowd they're expecting?

Good luck to them against former league side Boston United.
I'm upset Tooting n Mitcham got knocked out last round by Hayes n Yeading, who have now got the home tie against much improving Oxford Utd.
Would have gone to Tooting v them.

They are my non-league team and i used to go and see them quite regularly as i grew up in the area.
I noticed this as well, can't think of the last time they reached this stage... would love to be there, but can't make it this weekend
Come on you Robins!

Just noticed Dulwich Hamlet are on BBC2 MoTD tonight up against Carlisle Utd.  Should put a good few £s in their kitty.

My young grandson goes to Carshalton for football training on Saturday mornings. Artificial pitch but I have enjoyed the atmosphere when I have taken him. Nice little ground.
