MLM did ok at left-back against Liverpool and Chelsea Away last season.

I get the point about rotation but some of these players worry me.  We'll see in the next couple of hours but personally I think it illustrates a lack of quality cover in our squad.

I really think this rotation will help the whole team with Betts, Bryan, Arter and Cairney being rested. The starting lineup has a lot of player fighting for a place in the starting XI including Rodak, MLM, Reed, Stefjo, Reid and Knockaert. Perfect opportunity for a few reserves wanting to become starting XI players and regular players to not take their spots for granted. I think we will win, but better still we will have a good rotation next week and actually play well in the third game for a change.

Of the above, no one is being rested as far as I know. Bryan, Arter and Cairney are injured or ill as far as I undertstand, and Betts is surely dropped for Rodak? I don't think it helps our team with players being inured or ill.

looks like same old same old . all the ball while the other team creates the chances. common pattern , only person who fails to see it is Parker .

So at the half, we're playing a tad bit more direct. Several long balls to Mitro. Is that more of what everyone is wanting to see? Feel we are playing well, but they look dangerous going forward. I see that we're primarily using our passing around the back to set up either Mawson or Ream to dribble forward in order to open their forward pressure. It's working so far, but we definitely a bit quicker play in their defensive third. Knockaert is playing solid, but at times he's taken just a bit too many touches. Hopefully we can finish with a good performance - need more shots and shots on target.
