As long as we retain the Football Ground look & feel rather than just being a concrete , soul less stadium will be fine with me. These new stadiums all look similar & will never become historical icons that the Cottage has.

Another problem I can think of in relation to non-matchday revenues is that if the PL and EFL had any brains (questionable, admittedly) surely they'd recognise that this is essentially a circumvention of FFP and change the rules so that revenue from things unrelated to football can't be treated as revenue for the football club. Otherwise, if Khan's aim is really to generate another income stream to support the club, we should just build a block of luxury flats two miles up the river and the club can have the revenue from letting those.

A few luxury apartments, that's a loophole, but think bigger. Fulham need to buy "Southside Wandsworth" and use all the profits to pay players wages.

Top one is the Current & Fayed stands. Seems a lot more space for facilities in the Khan design. The bottom one shows how much bigger "our little stand" is than the old riverside stand. Completely dwarves it
