Fred Callaghan must be in the mix.......number 12 (when that meant the one allowable substitute) for long periods before establishing himself. Hardly an elegant player, but effective, and a great club man.

Hmmm.... Our greatest ever player, with a statue and a stand named after him, at one point the highest paid player in football and 50+ England caps puts him firmly outside "cult" status IMO
