I think I am right in saying Kenny used to come to the cottage during teh swinging 60's

Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

A good friend of Bobby Moore -  he was multi talented  - a good singer and a decent actor . RIP

RaySmith

I saw him  several times at the Cottage in the 70's, in the what is now the Johnny Haynes, in the bar area - I used to stand in The Enclosure - usually with Harry Fowler of  The Army Game, 60's sit com  about National Service, fame.

Kenny made from  great records. I remember his version of  Ben E. King's Up on the Roof.

RIP

Oh dear, what sad news. A real character of the sixties I saw several times at The Cottage and also down the Kings Rd window shopping.
Never off the telly in that era. Last time I saw him was at a charity golf day at Ferndown Golf Club about 6 years ago but even by that time he was confined to a golf buggy.
RIP Kenny you were much loved.
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Very sad the only time in 60 years of going to the cottage that I sat in the Stevenage road stand (as it was then) he and Harry fowler were sat immediately behind me.
