Interesting figures, and you have certainly been beavering away burning the midnight oil and gathering this information and researching the financial movements of the owner and his son.
So what does it all add up to.

What does it all add up to? "The Khans" are going to pour money into Fulham, until Tony Khan makes Fulham into profitable Premier League team or Tony Khan dies of old age.

Surely it won't take that long will it ?

Of course not, he'll keep sacking advisors until be accidentally appoints some good ones and then he'd do well. It will cost Shahid Khan a lot of money, but much less than let Tony Khan run Flex N Gate before he learns important management lessons.

I wasn't aware Flen N Gate had any current issues. A 6 Bn revenue company is good business, it's keeps the spondoolies rolling in for SK & TKs pet projects (like us)
Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.

I would love someone to explain the motive behind the Khan investment
Just a clue would be nice

I think you will find that they have put in more than the figures mentioned above, if you look at Cougar Investments - the ultimate holding company

But....for what ? Prestige? NFL ? Bragging rights at the golf club ? Job for son ?

It cannot be for the family's love of football can it ?

It's great while it lasts though, assuming SP can get us up

Shahid Khan has to invest so much into Fulham, because they made so many mistakes that ended up with us being once and now twice, a Championship team. So whilst appreciated, it is also a result of his own errors.

Why he owns a football club, but never visits for a game outside of when the Jags are in town....? I don't know. Baffles me.

Me too. One error is not getting top people to do specialist jobs and leaving his son in situ for a job that he seems to be spectacularly unsuited. Not knowing we needed a defence in summer, and not getting proper full backs in place in time, or even now remains a mystery.

It may be that to him, it's little, but to you or I (assuming you are not a billionaire) to own something like a football club would be incredible, and you'd soak up and enjoy every moment of it, because owning a football club is a tremendously financially impactive thing for most. Very few make money! So why put up with all of that and then not even go to games? What else are you taking from it to make it worthwhile?

I can see him entrusting Tony two ways - 1. He doesn't care and is just happy to leave his son to it, or 2. He cares, and he trusts Tony more than anyone. So I won't dally on that as part of the question about why he owns us.
