525 minutes since the last non-Mitrovoic goal. Why?

In the last 525 minutes, Mitrovoic has scored 5 goals, we have conceded 7 goals and 3 penalties, but no one else from Fulham has scored. Why is this? We cannot blame just finishing as the xG for non-Mitrovoic players is low too. What is the problem? And, what is the solution?

Because they are kinda crap? Knockaert and Cav are the same player (cut in and blast it into orbit) and Reid is the invisible man
And yet people still say we have the best strike force in the league.

Whether it is the best is not really the point, it is certainly very good.  Unfortunately our strike force is not achieving as much as it is capable of and is far too reliant on Mitro's eye for goal.

I'm not sure there is a simple solution.  BDR was pretty anonymous last night. Knock ran the line with energy but too little end result and Cav looks out of place.  Switching the wide players to shift away from our overuse of inverted wingers might help - it was interesting how comfortable AK looked playing on his natural side and the angle of his crosses was far more dangerous.  Playing more quickly certainly opened up more opportunities (that our strike force squandered). Playing TC a bit deeper seemed to enable him to provide better service to the front men.  Perhaps more use of AK and/ or Kebano might help.  For me the biggest disappointment is that BDR seems pretty ineffectual, I had him down as a quality forward who knows where the goal is.

When SK says we will go back the manager, head coach knows he must achieve it,think enough said!

The wide players often take the ball towards the defender, then change direction quickly and go past the defender which gets them goal side and a danger to the defence!

Its a simple but effective tactic and  wingers have been doing this for years but for some reason ours do not?

So all three, who have been absolutely blinding in this league in recent years are, in fact, 'kinda crap' and not the manager/system? All three of them (and many others within the squad) are all off form/crap, at the same time, for many months now, and you don't think that could be related to something binding them all together?

We could have signed Salah and Mane in January and I would be almost certain that they would also look bad in the current setup.

The 3 of them are fine for our level and id be happy with them next season if we fix the defence and midfield. But theyre just too damn greedy or in BDRs case a try hard with nothing much else to offer. Hes Piazon reincarnate

Yet another thread where we have to look at the negative effect of our one footed inverted wingers.
