Clearing my Mothers house and there a big record collection there.
Great memories looking at the records 60s/70s /80s.
My first record i bought Obla di Obla da Marmalade ,Motown ,Beatles
12'' inch copies of records. etc etc
Came across Viva El Fulham.
Also found a songsheet with the record with all the words.
Seemed quite official, not sure if this had accompanied the record when
purchased or i had got it at Wembley at The Final.
Have no recollection of it before.
Any ideas?

Fulham33

There was an official songsheet with it. Not sure now if came with record or a match programme BUT it was official. I have one too.

Dodger53

I have the record but not the song sheet j

Anybody still got a copy of the record Les and Paul Barrett made back in the 60's?
I remember watching them sing the song on Blue Peter I think.
They made two songs if I remember rightly.

Brian McGroom

We've just moved house and found Viva El Fulham also The other single You Lucky People.

bill taylors apprentice

It was played in its entirety on Talksport a couple of days ago, bizarre I know but clearly they have to fill the airwaves with something so why not!

I didn't catch the reason for playing it but it made me smile.

Stevieboy

Was played on Radio 2 last year when Hugh Grant was a guestbon a Saturday morning show.
Surreal as it was playing as I switched the radio on......

Thanks f321ffc.
Wonder what the other song was?

I think Les,was a better player than singer!

Did his brother play for the reserves?

If anybody has a copy of the single that they no longer need and it is in good condition let me know and I will pay p&p and make a £5 donation to The Fulham Foundation on your behalf - I am only looking for one copy with the lyric sheet if possible!

It's now worth £20,000 because of it's so rare, was only ever played at parties by very drunk Fulham supporters so not many have survived!

Logical is just in the name - don't expect it has anything to do with my thought process, because I AM the man who sold the world.

It's interesting as to how Haynes sounds not unlike Boycie fro OFAH!

Remember the record well but, annoyingly, broke it a couple of years ago. I thought there was an incorrect christian name for one of the players..whoever recorded it got confused with another player from another club with the same surname.

I have an original tape of ' Black and White Eyes ' by Chris.
So different  to the rest of the songs on the cd.
Chris has been a Fulham fan since mid 60's and has been making some great songs over the years and still playing.

the pitch when i think  Steve Earle scored

spikey norman

Dominic is Chris's younger brother.
The three of us used to travel home and away when younger.

Think it was Dominic who ran on the pitch when we scored .
Cant remember who scored for Fulham
But think Steve Earle was a Leicster player by then and scored for them
Think it was a FA Cup replay 1974
Also remember meeting him and Sharon Deuce and family at
Hartlepool first game of the season 1993.
We won 1-0
