Depends on how you look at it.

Quite a few people have picked Paul Parker. Looking at his overall career, you would pick him. However, if you are actually basing it on 1981/82, he was a youngster that barely featured.

Based on 1981/82, I'd go for Ivor as he was my boyhood hero. Honourable mentions to Tony Gale, Roger Brown, Ray Lewington, Sean O'Driscoll, Robert Wilson, Dean Coney and Gerry Peyton. So, most of the team!

He made his debut during the season in question and to me his class was immediately obvious. I stand by my selection. He would be a useful asset now and a huge developing talent For our future.
