QPR vs Fulham live stream: how to watch the Championship wherever you are in the world

How to watch a QPR vs Fulham live stream as Scott Parker's side look to reverse their poor form in the West London derby

QPR vs Fulham, iFollow, 6.30pm BST

QPR are solidly mid-table, safe from any talk of relegation but with little to strive for in the way of promotion. That should make them appealing hosts for Fulham, who are desperately in need of a boost. It is still a West London derby though (fans or no fans!) so Rangers will not hand over the points lightly.

Fulham have got their season back off to an awful start, with two losses on the bounce putting paid to any hopes of going top automatically. What's more, Championship top scorer Aleksandar Mitrovic is now banned for three games following a mindless off the ball foul against Leeds last weekend. It's quickly becoming an exercise in damage limitation for Parker's side, who must now fight to consolidate a spot in the play-offs.

Kick-off is at 3pm BST and the game is being shown on iFollow in the UK - the cost for UK residents is £10 per game, but just £6 for overseas viewers, so if you use a VPN you can get it cheaper. See below for watching details where you are.

Use a VPN to watch QPR vs Fulham live stream from outside your country (or cheaper for UK residents)

iFollow has every single EFL game for the rest of the season.

QPR fans can watch here.
Fulham fans can watch here.

It costs a tenner to see your team, but it only costs £6 if you are watching from overseas. So a smart tip is to get yourself a handy VPN, and set your location to overseas and pay less. We recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).

All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster's T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can't work out where you are and what you're doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.

There are plenty of options out there, including:

FourFourTwo's brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!

IPVanish

Including a 30-day, money-back guarantee

Slightly more expensive but supports up to 10 devices, and you can pay for it every three months if you need to.

Sky Sports and BT Sport are the two main players once again, but iFollow is your best bet if these two aren't showing them.

If you don't want to commit to a monthly contract, then NOW TV are currently offering up their Sky Sports Monthly Pass for just £9.99 (usual price £16.99) – it'll get you access to all of their Premier League and Football League offerings, including this game. Hurry, though: this offer ends at 23:59 BST on September 30.

Fulham Seek Vital Win Against Neighbours Queens Park Rangers

With no wins, no points and no goals shared between either Queens Park Rangers or Fulham since the resumption of Championship action, fans of both the Whites and the R's can at least take comfort in the fact that something has to give in Tuesday night's West London derby.

Fulham Seek Vital Win Against Neighbours Queens Park Rangers

Fulham and QPR in Poor Form
Successive defeats to fellow promotion hopefuls Leeds United and a third West London side in the shape of Brentford has all but ended any hope for Scott Parker and his Fulham side bouncing straight back to the Premier League, without relying on the dreaded playoffs.

In fact, the Cottagers have slipped from third to fifth in the Championship table, and may well have to switch their forward-looking focus to protecting their rearguard as Preston North End and Derby County look to make late surges to steal a coveted playoff spot.

Three miles north along the Fulham Palace Road and into Shepherd's Bush, things are not particularly looking rosy for neighbours QPR either.

Languishing in mid-table, their own faint playoff hopes dying off in Saturday's abject display away to Charlton Athletic, Mark Warburton's side must surely look at a top-half finish as the measure for a successful campaign.

It's been a hugely disappointing return for the Hoops. Successive 1-0 defeats at Charlton, and previously at home to Barnsley, spoiling a pre-lockdown unbeaten run that had stretched to six games.

Denting their fierce rivals promotion ambitions on Tuesday night will now become paramount for an expectant Loftus Road faithful.

Team News
The R's go into the game without any fresh injury concerns, but did confirm that long-term layoff Charlie Owens will spend at least another six months in recovery after further surgical exploration on a knee injury that has blighted this season.

The hosts have also released a trio of youngsters from contracts, including striker Lewis Walker. The son of former star Des, the 21-year-old had made a handful of appearances for the first team during this campaign.

Scott Parker has been rocked by the suspension of not one, but two of his striking options ahead of the derby, including that of star-turn Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Serbian was slapped with a three-game ban after league officials surveyed footage of an elbow on Leeds' Ben White during Saturday afternoon's encounter and will join French partner Neeskens Kebano, who was dismissed late on at Elland Road, in a watching brief.

Fellow frontman Aboubakar Kamara remains sidelined as he approaches a return to full fitness paving the way for playmakers Anthony Knockheart and Ivan Cavaleiro to pick up more advanced roles in what Parker will see as a must-win.

Prediction
It was Kamara that bagged a brace when Fulham won the reverse fixture 2-1 at Craven Cottage in November, but Parker remains confident that despite the suspensions to Mitrovic and Kebano, the depth of his squad can see the visitors steal a victory.

QPR, with little to play for other than pride and lacking firepower of late, may well succumb to a combination of that depth and Fulham's desperation to cling to that playoff spot.

All the latest QPR team news ahead of Fulham clash

QPR slipped to their second consecutive defeat since the return of the Championship on the weekend, losing 1-0 to Charlton Athletic at the Valley.

Mark Warburton's side's play-offs hopes look all but over after the defeats over the past few weeks, which has left them 10 points shy of the top six.

They now have just an eight-point buffer over the bottom three, so they might start looking over their shoulders if they're unable to get a result in midweek.

They now face west London rivals Fulham, who are themselves coming off the back of a comprehensive 3-0 defeat to Leeds United.

Despite the recent poor form of Scott Parker's side, they're not a team to be underestimated and in that sense, Warburton will know he'll need his players firing this evening.

The R's boss was only able to name seven of the allotted nine substitutes for the clash with the Addicks as with injuries and the U23s on furlough, he simply didn't have the players available to do so.

Speaking on the club website ahead of the Fulham clash, Warburton revealed that with the return to fitness of a number of men he now has 18 outfield players available so they will be able to name a full matchday squad this evening.

He hinted that some of the younger, less experienced members of his squad "may well get a lot of good pitch minutes" moving forward.

Geoff Cameron, who returned against Charlton after the end of his suspension, looks likely to feature again for the R's.

Neither Marc Pugh or Grant Hall will, of course, be part of the squad as both have left the west London club at the end of the contracts.

BAME coaches: Premier League, EFL and PFA announce scheme to increase numbers

The Premier League, English Football League and Professional Footballers' Association have announced a new scheme to increase the number of black, Asian and minority ethnic coaches.

The aim is to help BAME players move into full-time coaching roles in the professional game.

The scheme will start next season and will give six coaches a 23-month work placement at EFL clubs per campaign.

PFA members at any age or stage in their careers can apply.

"This is a critical time for black, Asian and minority ethnic coaches," said Doncaster Rovers manager Darren Moore, who is chair of the Premier League's black participants' advisory group.

"We all know and agree that the diversity of coaches and managers must increase and this placement scheme represents a positive step.

"There are lots of roles in the academy system, all the way through to first team, and young coaches can slot in at different points to begin that journey.

"We need to have the right structures and people in place to develop their careers. I know from my own experiences the value of strong support throughout the coaching journey."

At present, only six of the 91 Premier League and EFL managers or head coaches are BAME.

The new scheme, supported by the Football Association, is jointly funded by the Premier League and the PFA, with bursaries to each participant from the placement club.

Candidates must have a minimum of a Uefa B qualification and commit to Uefa A coaching licence.

They must also take the FA Advanced Youth Award and will be selected following panel and individual club interviews.

"It is vital that there are no barriers to entry to the pipelines for employment in coaching," said Premier League chief executive Richard Masters.

"We need more BAME coaches entering the system to create greater opportunities throughout the professional game."

Fulham's quest for promotion to Premier League made even harder by Mitrovic ban

Aleksandar Mitrovic's three-match ban capped a disastrous 10 days for Fulham since the Championship restart.

The division's joint-top scorer will miss tonight's short trip to QPR and the games against Birmingham and Nottingham Forest after admitting violent conduct for an off-the-ball elbow on Ben White in Fulham's 3-0 defeat at Elland Road on Saturday .

The Cottagers have failed to convert possession into penetration in defeats to promotion rivals Brentford and Leeds, and the loss of Mitrovic, who has scored 23 League goals this season, will only further dampen their firepower against mid-table QPR, who have the third worst defence in the division.

Fulham's other talisman, captain Tom Cairney, has been anonymous since the restart, while all five goals conceded have come from attacks down their left flank in nightmarish outings for full-back Joe Bryan.

From eyeing a late surge into the top two, Scott Parker's side are bracing themselves for a play-off scrap, but neither the manager nor his players look equipped for an immediate return to the top flight.

Faced with studious dug-out opponents, Parker has appeared short of tactical nous. Both Brentford's Thomas Frank and Leeds's Marcelo Bielsa changed the games against Fulham with substitutions, while Parker's own replacements have failed to make an impact, save from Neeskens Kebano earning a red card for two bookable offences on Saturday. The winger will also miss tonight's derby at Loftus Road.

Parker has at times been reticent to talk up Mitrovic this season, claiming the Serbian still had a "young mentality" after he scored a stoppage-time winner moments after missing a penalty in a 1-0 win over Swansea in February.

In seemed an odd description of a 25-year-old who has already played in the Champions League and Premier League, but Mitrovic's recklessness at the weekend pointed to an immaturity that seems likely to cost his team — and possibly him the Golden Boot, with Brentford Ollie Watkins joining him at the top of the scoring charts on Saturday.

The Bees have replaced Fulham as the likeliest side to gatecrash the top two, following up the 2-0 victory at Craven Cottage with a hard-fought 1-0 win over West Brom.

They can close the gap to two points and pile the pressure on the second-placed Baggies with another win at Reading tonight, before Slaven Bilic's side travel to Sheffield Wednesday tomorrow.

Led by Watkins and winger Said Benrahma, Frank's side have been lethal on the counter-attack since the restart and will hope to benefit from the absence of banned Reading defender Matt Miazga tonight.

Millwall are still hoping to make it into the play-offs, but face a six-pointer at home to Swansea this evening. The Lions are five points from sixth place after a loss and a draw since the restart.

Andre Wisdom: Derby County defender in hospital after being stabbed

Derby County defender Andre Wisdom is stable in hospital after being stabbed in an "unprovoked assault and robbery" in Liverpool.

The club confirmed on Monday that Wisdom had been robbed in Toxteth while visiting relatives.

They said the 27-year-old will make a full recovery and that Merseyside police are investigating the incident.

"The club will focus its efforts on supporting Andre and his family," a Derby statement read.

Wisdom joined Liverpool in 2012 and made 14 appearances before leaving for Derby in 2017.

He featured in the Rams' 2-1 Championship victory over Reading on Saturday.

'Reid', 'Johansen' – Scott Parker facing Fulham dilemma after important player update: The verdict

This article is part of Football League World's 'The Verdict' series, which provides personal opinions from the FLW writers regarding the latest breaking news, teams, players, managers, potential signings and more...

Fulham's chances of achieving automatic promotion back into the Premier League have been dealt a significant blow with Aleksandar Mitrović being suspended for their next three matches.

The Serbian international was caught elbowing Leeds United defender Ben White in their 3-0 defeat to Marcelo Bielsa's side on Saturday.

Mitrovic has been in impressive form this season for the Cottagers, having scored 23 goals in 36 appearances as they look to make a swift return to the top-flight.

Fulham have struggled since the resumption of this year's campaign though, as they have lost both of their games since getting their season back under way, which will be concerning for the club's supporters.

Mitrovic will miss their matches against QPR, Birmingham City and Nottingham Forest, which could prove to be a season-defining blow for the London-based side.

But who should come into the side to fill the sizeable void in attack for Scott Parker's side over the next three matches?

We discuss....

George Harbey:

I'd be giving Bobby Reid a chance to shine up top.

I don't personally believe that Reid is an attacking midfielder, and I think he's much better when he's leading the line and playing on the shoulder of the last man, and I think he'd score much more goals in that position.

It's obviously a massive blow to lose Mitrovic ahead of the next three matches, especially on the back of two defeats, as he has shown that he can take a chance and score out of nowhere, so to be without that goal threat for the next three games is undoubtedly a blow.

Whoever plays up top needs to perform Mitrovic's role really well, so whether Reid can cope with the physicality and demands of playing as a lone striker in the Championship remains to be seen.

This is a crucial time for Fulham nonetheless, and Scott Parker simply has to get it right.

George Dagless:

Aboubakar Kamara seems a likely option.

He's been called upon before when Mitrovic has been missing and has actually done a decent job at times this season, so let's see if he can do so again.

Certainly, Fulham need him to step up but I do sometimes think that without Mitrovic they are forced to be a bit more creative as a team and that can sometimes work.

They are so reliant on the Serb at times that, without him, they see others step up and produce the goods so maybe a turn in form will come about.

Alfie Burns:

I'd like to see Stefan Johansen given a chance in a sort of false 9 position. That change in approach could get a talented player into the side and also bring a different dynamic to the way Fulham attack.

At the moment, it is easy to read. It isn't easy to deal with as Mitrovic is such a threat, but you know who Fulham are turning to for their source of goals.

So, in the absence of the Serbian, maybe give Johansen a go in that sort of creative No.9 position. Flaking him with two wingers to play on the shoulder will allow him to drop deep, whilst his relationship with Tom Cairney will also blossom.

He's not the natural fit by any stretch of the imagination, but maybe he's the man to come in and get the best out of Cairney and co, who are drifting towards disappointment in the promotion race.

All the latest Fulham team news ahead of QPR clash

Fulham will be hoping to get back to winning ways on Tuesday evening, when they return to action against London rivals QPR.

The Cottagers were beaten 3-0 by promotion rivals Leeds United in their last match, and will be eager to get their promotion bid back on track at the earliest of opportunities.

Scott Parker is coming under increasing pressure from some of the club's supporters, who have been disappointed with recent results which have seen them lose ground on the top-two in the Championship.

But it certainly won't be an easy game for them to pick up three points from, as they take on a QPR side that will be looking to obtain a much-needed three points on Tuesday.

Mark Warburton's side are currently sat 14th in the second tier standings, and are without a win since this year's league campaign got back under way earlier this month.

We take a look at the Fulham team news ahead of the game against the Hoops.

Aleksandar Mitrović
The Serbian striker has been key to Fulham's promotion bid this season, and has chipped in with 23 goals in 36 appearances in all competitions.

But Mitrovic is serving the first of his three-match suspension for elbowing Leeds United defender Ben White in their defeat to the Yorkshire-based side at the weekend.

He'll leave a sizeable void in the Fulham team ahead of a season-defining few matches for the Cottagers.

Neeskens Kebano
Kebano came on as a second-half substitute against Leeds at the weekend, but certainly didn't make the impact he would have originally hoped for.

The forward was sent-off after just 28 minutes on the pitch, as he picked up his second bookable offence to receive his marching orders at Elland Road.

That means that he is suspended for the game against QPR on Tuesday evening, which leaves Scott Parker short of options in attack.

Maxime Le Marchand
The Frenchman returned to competitive action on Saturday as he stepped off the substitutes bench against Leeds United.

It was Le Marchand's first minutes back on the pitch since he featured against Birmingham City back in November 2019.

He'll be hoping that it's the last he sees of his injury problems in recent months, as he looks to play a part for the Cottagers against QPR on Tuesday.

Appointing Scott Parker set Fulham up for failure

Saturday seemingly spelt the end of any chance of Fulham cracking the Championship's automatic promotion spots.

An embarrassing 3-0 drubbing at the hands of Leeds United on the back of last week's 2-0 loss to Brentford has left the London club seven points adrift of West Bromwich Albion, and with just 21 points left to play for, it will take a minor miracle for the Whites to make up the gap, especially when you consider that both Nottingham Forest and Brentford are now above them in the table.

The sad thing for Fulham fans is that they've gotten so much right this season.

Tony Khan may divide opinion amongst the fanbase, but there's no denying that he did a grand job of making sure his team were amongst the strongest sides in the Championship after their relegation from the Premier League.

Not only did he manage to keep hold of £18m-rated Aleksandar Mitrovic and former Championship Player of the Year nominee Tom Cairney, but he also added an abundance of talent to an already stacked squad as former Championship POTY Anthony Knockaert joined on loan, while Ivan Cavaleiro and Bobby Decordova-Reid scored 28 goals between them last time they played in the second tier.

Fulham were set up to be promoted, and while they still might be via the playoffs, on paper, they should have run away with it.

Unfortunately, Khan made one grave error, and that was gifting this talented side to a rookie manager.

Scott Parker had no managerial experience at all before he was handed the job at Craven Cottage, and he's not been able to get the best out of his squad.

Look at the aforementioned players' records compared to the last time they played in the Championship, Cavaleiro has eight fewer goal contributions than he did in 2017/18, Decordova-Reid has scored 14 fewer than he did in his last Championship season, while Knockaert has 16 fewer goal contributions than he did during Brighton's promotion season.

Given the right coaching, these players should terrorise defences at this level, but it just hasn't happened this season, and perhaps that's down to Parker not being able to get the best out of them.

Look at the man who was opposite Parker on Saturday, and you'll see where having a top manager can get you.

Six of the players Marcelo Bielsa used on Saturday were a part of the squad that finished 13th the year before the Argentine arrived at Elland Road, but he's moulded them into the best team in the division in just two years.

Rather than spending big on players, perhaps the higher-ups at Fulham should have splashed out on a top manager to get their side back to the promised land of the Premier League.

'Cowardly' – Exclusive: Keith Hackett slams Mitrovic, claims FA should go further than ban

Dave Woods talking exclusively to former Premier League referee Keith Hackett...

Former Premier League referee Keith Hackett has said that Aleksandar Mitrovic's elbow on Ben White early on in the game at Elland Road on Saturday was a "cowardly act" and that the FA should impose a fine as well as a ban.

Mitrovic has now been suspended but the three-game ban stopped short of what some Leeds fans were expecting, after his prior history of violent conduct.

However, he will be a big miss for Fulham as they try to put together their promotion push after two successive losses.

Talking exclusively to MOT Leeds News Hackett said, "I saw the incident and I thought it was a red card, the body language and everything else said that's red.

"The referee didn't have the best view and neither does he have VAR. We criticise it but generally this weekend it's operated very well. In the Championship we don't have it and I think there's always a higher level of intensity in the Championship especially at the top. I would be pushing for VAR in the Championship if I was in charge.

"On this occasion there's no doubt that Mitrovic should have been dismissed, it was a clear act. I would also add a substantial fine to the ban – it is a cowardly act that doesn't have any place on a football field. He used his elbow as a weapon.

"I think he set himself, when you look at a player jumping for the ball, maybe the arm might be elevated. What the referee needs to look out for is whether the player is challenging for the ball fairly. Clearly, what he has done is come out with his arm, with the intention, in my opinion, to go after his opponent and make himself known.

"You cannot do that, players have to recognise they have a duty of care towards their opponent. This is a game and yes, it's high-level and everything that goes with it but they still have a responsibility for their own individual behaviour and for the safety of their colleagues."

We couldn't agree more with what Hackett has said.

It was a cowardly act that went unpunished by the referee but not by the Leeds United players. They did it the right way, though, marking Mitrovic out of the game and not looking to retaliate.

Ben White has to be praised for this. He's still young and he will have known exactly what Mitrovic did.

His composure for the following 88.5 minutes is an example to everyone in the game.

'A recipe for disaster', 'Ludicrous' – Many QPR fans frustrated by starting XI for Fulham clash

Mark Warburton has named his QPR starting XI for the west London derby against Fulham this evening, which appears to have left many R's fans frustrated.

Warburton's men have suffered defeat against relegation-threatened sides in both of their games since the Championship restart and will be determined to get back to winning ways against Fulham.

The Cottagers are in a rough spell themselves, having been hammered 3-0 by Leeds United on Saturday, and are missing star striker Aleksander Mitrovic due to a suspension.

The QPR boss has opted for what looks like a 5-2-3 for the visit of Fulham, with 22-year-old Osman Kakay at centre-back alongside Geoff Cameron and Yoann Barbet.

Todd Kane is in for Angel Rangel at right-back, while Luke Amos returns to the midfield alongside Dominic Ball.

West Ham United loanee Jordan Hugill lines up alongside Bright Osayi-Samuel and Ebere Eze in what looks to be a front three, though it is unclear whether the latter pair are playing out wide or Eze is in the number 10 role.

QPR are in danger of being dragged into the relegation battle as they're currently just eight points above the drop zone with seven games remaining.

The starting XI for the Fulham clash doesn't seem to have filled R's fans with much confidence, with many taking to Twitter to voice their frustration.
