you can't proclaim we played well even though we got spanked. We were poor at the back, hence the three conceded, and poor going forwards hence zero goals being scored, and occasionally had some nice inter play that led to absolutely nothing

Of course you can play well and lose 3-0. How on earth can you not understand that? Whether we did play well is of course somewhat subjective, but that you can play well and lose is not. As I said, otherwise we don't need to watch games at all, because the score tells us everything.

Of course you can play well and lose 3-0. How on earth can you not understand that? Whether we did play well is of course somewhat subjective, but that you can play well and lose is not. As I said, otherwise we don't need to watch games at all, because the score tells us everything.

The question shouldn't be "whether we played well against Leeds?", but "whether we showed we win next time we play a top team?". The answer to the second question is "Absolutely, Yes We Can".

Leeds had 75% possession, 23 shots to Luton's 3 with 9 on target and get held 1-1.  It was a very similar pattern at Cardiff for them and they lost.   We match them, have a higher % possession, match them on chances and lose 3-0.  They way to beat Leeds is to defend in numbers and get s bit of luck.  We did neither.  It's a funny old game.

First half we did play well at Leeds, could easily have come in half time ahead. But we were undone by a very experienced manager. Bielsa saw the weakness down our left defensively and got at us.
