Plan A - let's hope those teams around us lose
Plan B - let's hope that the opposition score an OG
Plan C - let's get to play off final draw 0-0 and hope the opposition miss more penalties than us.

Most importantly let's rely on others and not take care of business ourselves.

Yep. Sick of it, he's far too conservative.

Given our goalkeeping statistics on penalties, plan C could win us promotion:
Sam Johnstone (WBA) - 25% Penalties Saved - 8 Saved and 24 Conceded
David Raya (Brentford) - 17% Penalties Saved - 4 Saved and 19 Conceded
Marek Rodak (Fulham) - 24% Penalties Saved  - 8 Saved and 25 Conceded
Marcus Bettinelli (Fulham) - 38% Penalties Saved  - 14 Saved and 23 Conceded

But, if we play open football with Brentford, I think we will lose.

Our only chance to beat Brentford is to win ugly which we cannot do.
Reading did it to us 3 years ago.

We only have to draw against Brentford as we are favorites in the shootout. If we are 0-0 after 90 minutes, Brentford will be desperate to get forward and score, gaps will appear in their defense and we should have the counter-attacking pace with players like Cav, Knockaert, Onamah, and Reid to score. Brentford cannot afford for us to keep a clean sheet in the final, which makes scoring easier.

Expect Parkerball +++++++ in a playoff final. If we get 1-0 up after 10 minutes don't be surprised if Christie and Bryan are our two wingers for the match and KMac, Reed and Arter the midfield. i don't like it but Parker is good at Parkerball.

But we have won ugly for most of the season, so what makes you think we cannot do it now all of a sudden?

Or we can do what we did when we last met them a few weeks ago, and hope that this time we are just a little bit more lucky. We cllearly have the quality to beat them, it was plain as day for anyone that watched our last encounter. I can guarantee you that we would not be happy with a draw beforehand.

True, I think we can beat Brentford during the game, especially if Cairney, Kamara, and Cav come back. They will want to win rather than go to a shootout, and Parkerball is better when teams need to beat us. Barnsley, Charlton, Luton and WBA all examples of games where the opposition was happy with a draw. We have four games before the playoff final that is enough time to improve a little more.

Yes, but we've had 44 games before this to improve a lot. And we are still on Plan A 'recurring' (A recurring decimal exists when decimal numbers repeat forever. For example, means 0.333333... - the decimal never ends).

Far to many people for my liking making an assumption that it's going to be a Fulham v Brentford play off Final,  very dangerous game to make assumptions like that, it's been such a poor Championship season that I wouldn't rule out the 6th placed team reaching the Final and winning it, watch this space.

That is the lottery of the play-offs

South West London Sport:

Scott Parker today revealed his ABC celebration plans should his Fulham side be successful in gaining promotion via the play offs "I've said to the lads, all of them, that, you know, if we win the play offs, we're got to be out giving something back to the fans. So we'll all be out there, on the pitch after the game, covering 'Poison Arrow' or 'The Look of Love'. Maybe both if we score more than once. TC and Tony are on the falsetto bits, Mitro and AK on harmonies. It shows a bit of character, you know?"

The news has been met with a muted response from Fulham fans on social media. Some saying they would have to have a look on Spotify but they think their dad might a black ABC Frisbee thing in his garage somewhere.
