Wolves will only be allowed to register 23 players if they qualify for the Champions League next season, after they failed to meet Uefa's Financial Fair Play target.

Seems to be not much of a penalty. All they have to do is keep within the allowed losses over the accounting periods of 2019, 2020 & 2021.

How many can you normally register then as I thought it was 23 anyway

yep, hardly a penalty at all as I doubt most clubs use anywhere near the 25
