There are three things managers look forward to, getting the job, being successful and the sack. Why do they look forward to the sack?, because they get paid a 'huge' amount of money, i.e. anywhere between £1m - £15m depending on what is in their contract. You very rarely see managers walk, they have to be pushed. It's always a win / win situation for them.
