Typical Parkerball win overall. Never made our superiority fully show itself. Tidy without being too threatening.

Hard to read too much into a game in which MLM looks solid. I like the look of Tete, let's see how he does against Premier League opponents.

The good: all four new signings played well, especially both full backs. Lemina was sloppy with some of his passing but showed good positioning. MLM passed really well, except for one really bad back pass.

We won.

The bad:

Created very little apart from the full backs. Didn't look especially dangerous. Still too slow with the passing. Pressing game lacks any organisation, we must press as a team.

We will need to improve considerably to stay up.

So Cyrus is obviously gone, unless he has Covid.  They are playing Joe on the right.

Think that's a bit presumptuous, he was starting our game against arsenal and one of the RB signings was a loan.

Was I watching a different game?
I thought out of our two new fullback Robinson offered more going forward and squashed any attacks quicker than Tete.
Tete looked stronger than our other two RBs but his display wasn't that impressive from what I saw in this game. Time will tell

I liked the new players - they brought an urgency to our game and worked hard to win the ball back and dominate. Tete best out of all of them, but Lemina stood out a lot more as did Areola for how vocal they were on the pitch and how much more they were encouraging the others to pass forward and be more aggressive. Areola had great distribution I thought a lot of balls hitting their mark.

I have to say the game died the moment TC came on - I'm finding it harder and harder now to justify his starting place - I watched him closely today and there were a lot of times where he just kept the ball ticking over and passed sideways or backwards inviting pressure on our defence. Rarely did he seem to look for a forward pass. I know he's a lot of people's lovechild on here, but we lacked any real forward momentum when he came on - he's meant to be a creative/attacking outlet and you could be forgiven for thinking he wasn't. Can't have him and Reed in the same lineup, they're too negative.

Our worst players in truth were our championship players from last year- Knockaert was soo wasteful, he and Kebano hardly had any real noteworthy efforts. Kebano was a threat from a freekick but not much else...

Don't get why Bryan was put on as a RB for Tete - he looked extremely uncomfortable in that position and his right foot isn't strong enough.

MLM actually looked confident and good, but this was a league one team - definitely don't think he'd look half as good at premiership level.

they are playing with a much weaker team in fairness.

But when we play with one against Arsenal is all doom and gloom on here but when Leeds lose to Hull its ok
