Looks like the bleeding has stopped, and coincidentally H&H are back playing together in the CB positions.

Maybe not so coincidentally at all Roy. Why experiment with things that are proven to work?

Baird's new found confidence has translated to very good cover for Pants as well. Still not as competent as Pants, but getting closer every match. His contribution has improved five fold going forward too. With Shorey on the left and H & H able to deal with the odd mistakes around them we have certainly got our goal defeating machine back at work. It's also fantastic to have a positive goal difference again.

We are starting to play better since all the injuries occurred. A big part of that is adding Shorey to the back line. He needs to be signed long term after the season!

Finny, please you can't deny me the odd goal or two that's quite a few times this season we have won 3-0, goal difference may win the club a mill or two but my needs are greater.
