Strength in Midfield, poor wingers

Considering that we have depth in midfield, would it be better if we played more narrow in midfield and ditch our wingers. Using wing backs instead in a back 5. Our wingers have been terrible for awhile now and not PL quality.

Tete and robinson to provide the width if required

A midfield diamond?

Reed at the bottom of the diamond. Anguissa / loftus cheek in the middle. Lookman top of the diamond.

We have cairney, lemina, anoma and Seri to come in to freshen things up if needed.

Add Saïd Benrahma to XI and Karlan Grant to the bench from the Championship to our squad, then the team is balanced.

Don't even need Benrahma if we get Grant.   Bring someone up from the U18 side to sit on the bench.    Use Robinson as a winger and Aina as a FB to back him up.

At some point we've got to trust BDR, Cav or Anthony to step up.
