The best CB we signed this summer is out for the foreseeable future because he's done his ankle ligaments in training. We are cursed.

Vital we get Kongolo & keep Hector. What rotten luck we have with CB´s.

It really is rotten luck for us. Already promising Tete out with lengthy injury, then a much needed CB, not even kicking the ball and out.

Keep hearing Hector is on his way out on loan, I know he hasn't started this season well but can't help thinking he can be a steady PL player alongside someone consistent

Where do you hear this?

From Parker himself in pre match press conference

Perhaps Mawson transferred his curse to him.

If this is true it does raise the eyebrows that once again we get a player in that doesn't make it to the first match in one piece.

I do think we are a bit of a soft touch for getting in frail players.

I suspect ream and odoi will be center backs for weeks to come.

There are a multitude of reasons that could've caused the injury but seeing as he's never had an ankle ligament injury before, you can't really blame the club for that. Odoi is getting nowhere near our 25 man squad because he's objectively the worst CB of the lot at this level and he's third choice RB

That's 3 recent signings who are injured. Unfortunate, 2 from Lyon.

Neutral Zone Ultra

Big big onus now on Adarabioyo and Kongolo (if he comes) to step up now otherwise we are toast.

He didn't have a lot of luck with foot injuries either.

He was still dangerous at corners though. Could get up for the cross

Foreseeable future. A few weeks. So guessing a couple of months at least

I'm now wondering if the push to get Kongolo in was precipitated by Anderson's injury...?
