Confirmed 25 man squad

The Club have today submitted a squad list for the 2020/21 Premier League season.

The squad contains no more than 17 players that do not fulfil the 'Home Grown Player' criteria out of the 25-man roster.

Good that it implies a pre xmas return for Anderson. Slightly surprised Odoi made that cut but he is useful to have on the bench as can play anywhere across the back

Different injuries take differing amounts of time to heal? Anderson should be back in November, if Josh isn't ready until December then he can play in the U23's until January when we take one of the surplus defenders out and add him in

yes that's possible, I didn't even know he was injured. The club aren't very good at communicating with the fans

I'd assume that one of the CB's would be on the chopping block before Odoi. Might be that MLM is staying as Kongolo and Andersen are currently injured.

I'd assume that one of the CB's would be on the chopping block before Odoi. Might be that MLM is staying as Kongolo and Andersen are currently injured.

you would imagine that to be the case. Can't be many teams with 6 centre backs registered in it.

So Andersen and Tete are currently out... That makes sense then to have Odoi and one of Ream or MLM in, but not sure it justifies both.

We should be looking to have two solid options in each position. Odoi is a utility man, and whilst he's the biggest liability for me, his versatility makes him important.

In my opinion I find it strange and am gutted to see Stefan left out - weird to think not only what he can offer but also that Norway's captain is now not able to play competitive football between now and January, unless we simply let him go on a free.

Kamara has got in by the skin of his teeth - we simply don't have any genuine options up front as an out and out striker aside from Mitro and playing the numbers game means he's in the squad.

Onomah - I feel really sorry for. He was really positive for us towards the back end of last season and I thought Parker really rated him as a player and he's young and was getting better and more confident too. Is the jump to the other players that significant? Perhaps. Lemina, RLC and Anguissa are all clearly above the quality of most of the midfield we had last season. That said though, is it a stupid transfer policy when RLC and perhaps Lemina are both loans with no options when we have players on permanent contracts that aren't even in the 25? I think so and that's a problem with how we recruited.

Kmac - lovely guy and has more than earned his time at the club both on and off the pitch. Just a shame we couldn't get him offloaded to another club. I think we should pimp him out to other clubs and give him a glowing reference and hopefully another club in the championship will pick him up. He hardly played much last season, so sadly the writing was on the wall. He posted something to his instagram with a picture of him in a Fuham shirt saying 'keep smiling, it could be worse' yesterday, so i assume he was told then.I think he still has something to offer a championship team, fitness levels and physical mobility dependent.

Sad times at the club and a shame so many careers with the club have had to end this way. Especially as both Stefan and KMac stayed after we got relegated again despite playing key roles in getting us promoted the first time and then not playing afterwards.
