Awful subs, Cairney most creative player by a mile. Cav worst player along with Aina and Lemina. Any of those should have gone.

Frankly Everton were there for the taking today. Play Lookman wide, get crosses in, use his pace. We did it once.And scored.Play Anguissa from the start.He dominates.

Honestly this is basic stuff. Parker is clueless.

Start with Lookman left, RLC right and Mitro in the middle

Cairney in front of Ried/Lemina (either plays better with frank along side them) and Anguissa in the middle ... can only assume Frank was tired after travelling because his ommission today was criminal otherwise.

Even more frustrating to see that dominance late on...we have the players and the talent but first half our system was a joke. Our wing backs completely exposed and no adjustment during the half combat it.

I still hope he learns fast but a better manager does much more with this squad.

I've no idea whose decision it is to give Cav the penalty. The guy looks completely devoid of any confidence in terms of output. But yes, Parker, team selection all wrong and corrected only when the game was lost. Anyone with a few brain cells could see a midfield with Reed and Lemina isn't going to work. You either put Reid in AM and drop Cairney deeper with one of Lemina OR Reed. Honestly, I'm not calling for Parker out but how is this not obvious?

I'll hazard a guess and say it was against a lower championship team when we had ample possession and much better quality of player than the oppo.

I defended Cavaleiro last season because I thought he was quality at that level and better than Knockaert. But he never has, and never will, be able to regularly make an impact at this level. The fact he's still our 4th best forward shows how poor our summer recruitment was in that area.
