Can’t win if we can’t score

Our defence is solid and we have some really top level players at the back, but we are absolutely toothless in attack! We simply can't stay up unless we start scoring goals and we aren't going to do that until we start playing a proper striker. No team stays in the Premier League with someone like Cav up front. He isn't good enough for this league, even in his native wide position.

Parker needs to start Mitrovic and Khan needs to get us a quick striker with good movement and who knows how to find the back of the net in the next four days.

Otherwise this season is done I'm sorry to say.

A new striker isn't going to solve our problems.
They still need service to score. We create nothing in attack.

So a fundamental change in mentality and tactics is needed as well.

Better players would obviously give us a better chance as they can do better things, but the fact is the team's attacking shape/strategy is really disjointed and poor atm.

We're decent on the counter but can barely create anything. By focusing so much on the defence and defensive shape we've sacrificed our attacking game.

In the last few games we've both lacked attacking width and creativity through the middle, it's a pretty stunning failure of tactics.
