Why does he keep starting? He is the main reason why we haven't scored a Premier League goal since the Liverpool game. When he has a chance, he never even troubles the keeper. When he is on the break he makes poor choices and our attack breaks down. There were a couple of times where we had a good counter and he didn't find the pass that was needed to create a chance for us to score. Everybody says we need a forward, but a winger is what we really need. We need both, but we might be better off if we got a winger in that can score and threaten teams on the counter.

Still feel he's a support act and does a reasonable job at that.

It's our current lack of a striker that puts the onus on him to be a super striker.. and he isn't that.. never will be.

I can see why a player of his type is played in that position in theory but all he has is legs.

His goal against Spurs (as welcome as it was) was like his goal against Huddersfield early last season, a flash in the pan once or twice a season.

Its a sorry state when we have to play someone up front whose only asset is he can run around a lot!
Add that to the lack any other competent forwards and we are in big trouble.
