I agree with posters that RLC should not start ahead of BDR.

Has Scott Parker promised RLC a starting role every time and that is why RLC signed for us on loan.

Rotten decision to leave BDR on the bench and keep RLC in the team. That's just illogical, one scores and gives 100% the other falls over. Go figure !

He doesn't fall over as much as Lookman.

If I heard Scott Parker correctly in his press conference yesterday the only reason Maja isn't in the squad tonight is not because of any registration issues but because he only arrived yesterday and Parker and his team hadn't seen him to asses his fitness. I fully expect him to be in the squad on Saturday.

BDR should start over RLC, I can only assume it's because RLC is stronger and could potentially hold the ball up better, but we have Mitrovic for that. At least we can bring him on to get goals.

The other reason might be because BDR is most effective from the right, whereas RLC tends to stay more central. It's unfortunate that our two most effective wing backs play in the same position - Tete and BDR.

The team today is extremely defensive and slow. Outside of Lookman we have no pace and its going to be a grind to get a result.  RLC doesnt do enough for me, and Mitro is slow as it gets.  Then we have no right wing today (Tete overlapping with his typical poor crosses.  He is also not great going 1v1). 

I think the hope is that Robinson can overlap with Lookman, and maybe we can connect on a cross or Lookman can create a magic moment.  I am not sure how this team scores 2 goals unless our subs come on. 

This game has 1-1, 2-1 loss written all over it. Hope I am wrong and the team comes out desperate and surprises us.

At this point, I would rather see a bench space given to the likes of Jasper or Carvalho than Hector/Odoi with Maja unavailable till this weekend. Seems a shame to not give those guys a shot in 10-15 minute cameos seeing as we have sent out kamara and kebano

I agree Mitro needs willing runners either side. Tete a good player but no RWF. hmmm, seems he wants to find a way to shoehorn both our good RB options. With BDR at least scoring and coming close to a second last weekend it seems a shame to exclude him imo. Though I appreciate perhaps the plan is to allow Tete to cross from deep. we shall see

it just leaves us a bit limited in attacking options, once Maja is back I appreciate he'll be straight into and presumably one of Tete, Aina or Mitro will fall to the bench, but in the mean time what have we got to lose in letting a hungry youth player have a shot
