I'm sure McBurnie is a decent Championship player but tonight he looks more like a former pro playing in an exhibition match.

Thank God we don't have Liverpool's keeper.

If you're going to have a nightmare, make sure it's a killer and that it's against one of your main rivals.

Good to see Phil Foden a shining English talent amongst the imports.
Tinged with a bit of sadness - his goal was EXACTLY what Pat Roberts was doing when he was 16.

2-1 to the Blue Poo. Happy with that.

Anyone else expect Sheffield to get something out of tonights game? I do
I hope not. Need to keep them below us.
Really hope not. Would be a big shock

They had a real go, fortunately just did not have enough. Now we have to start closing that gap hopefully bit by bit, achieving wins is the only way out of it.

Sheff U made a fight of it, and nearly scored a great goal in the last minute, with a bicycle kick, that Chelsea's keeper had to save.

I breathed a sigh of relief, an unusual feeling to be relieved at a Chelsea win over a team I've had a bit of soft spot for, but are now our deadly rivals.

Yes we need both West Brom and Sheffield Utd to lose today to keep them off our shoulder.

and leicester to win and maybe bring wolves into the mix?
or is that being too optimistic?

Wolves only need 4 wins to get to 38 points, out of our reach. Burnley is the only team I can see us catching, 1/2 a chance if we take 6 points off them.

So far thats the biggest IF of the season. IF....Brighton   IF W.Brom   IF IF IF IF If only we could turn up well prepared for the games that really matter - Dream land Parker talks about a mini league and thats the one to win but the players arn't listening.
We've been in a position tomwin each of our last 12 games, poor finishing/poor goalkeeping has let us down, not lack of prep, seriously blinkered view that you have.  It's sad really, but hey, it's just a game and doesn't matter. Chin up.
