Painful for us but I think it will be all over and forgotten before we play Palace at mid day on Sunday.

With regard to the rotation - some of these guys will be away for up to a year at a time without it.

Although it may harm our side in the short term, it does mean we don't lose talents in the way that we have in the past. These guys need a rest too.

I think Kohli in the last Test and Root in this one have set poor examples by squaring up to the on field umpire after review decisions went against their teams. The third umpire has been incompetent, but seeing the captains and other members of the teams confronting the on field umpires in this series is bad for the game. England's sardonic, mocking laughter today gained them no sympathy with me. Too much of this happening in cricket and rugby union now (it has been a lost cause in football for many years).
