I so specifically remember that goal being the last moment of brilliance for us for years. I think we went on to lose that match 4-1 and all downhill from there.

I remember in the newspaper the next day, though which paper i do not remember, there being a spread showing the mathematics of Kasamis goal. The angles of it all deemed it near on impossible, it really was a goal of a lifetime.

I have a Chelsea supporting friend who regards it as the best goal he's ever seen. He's in agreement that if it was scored in an important game, or by a big team, not by relegation candidates, it would be up there with the best.

Football is always concerned with status however.
