How much does the club get for going down?..... Is it enough to get us back in the prem?...... Let's be honest, the championship is a great league, where everybody can beat everybody.......and....the tickets are cheaper

I've often wondered about this, with parachute payments given on relegation, you have to wonder if its financially better to become a good yo yo club than a team that just survives relegation by finishing in or around 14- 16th.
I'm not aware of the actual payments for the teams finishing just above safety, but I would wager it nay be more financially viable to be relegated if you know you've a good squad to potentially get back up in a season or two.

Finishing bottom last year got you 98m, so its obviously much better to survive as you gain 100+ million for just being in the league...
