As for "your team's or manager's flair doesn't matter, if you concede lots of goals", I will reply: have a look at Leeds this year. They have done very well and are enjoyable to watch in their own unrealistic style or identity while having a worse defence than us.

You are right to say Leeds have done well. But, unlike us two seasons ago, they didn't amass only 5 points from the first twelve matches; they gained 14. Had Leeds suffered a similarly poor start but held true to their identity and gone on to rescue their season, your point would be valid.

Instead, comparing us with Leeds shows that Bielsa made a better judgement call than Jokanovic in terms of how successful his team would be from the outset if it played in the style he wanted. While this doesn't prove Jokanovic couldn't have turned our season around had he been able to persist with his preferred style, neither does it lend any weight to the argument that he could.

When a manager is remember so fondly by the vast majority of the fans and when everyone agreed that Fulham was playing the best football in the Championship for two years in a row, then that manager must have been doing something well. So, calling him naive is just plainly wrong in my opinion.

To suggest that because we played the best football in the Championship, it's not possible to be naive in the Premier League is not logical. I make no claim as to what Jokanovic actually thought, but if, for instance, it were known he believed we could enjoy 60% of the possession (as we had, on average, during our two previous seasons, and which had been a clear, if not the clearest, feature of our identity in that time) against top-flight opposition, I think that many observers would regard such an expectation as unrealistic to the point of naivety.

Bielsa is a world class trainer whose Cv can match anyone with vast experience. A tad unfair for parker to be compared to him . I totally agree with Arther. Plus we qualified via the play-offs with Slavisa too.

However Joka gets the boot after just 7 games, whereas Parker gets given Andersen, Tosin & Aina to shore things up. Sacking Joka was possibly the stupidest thing the Khans have ever done, which is saying a lot. Had we not signed the aforementioned 3 players I'm pretty sure we'd have struggled to reach 10 points this season with Parkerball

The constant comparisons between Joka being sacked and why SP has'nt been miss the point that the latter apparently has the Khans support and confidence. They are completely different scenarios.
