Would be The Greatest Of Great Escapes if we stay up.

4 games to go, need to win every game. Feels like we are 98% down for sure, almost impossible.

Would surely be the Greatest Escape of the Premier League era, at least, if we do it

I think 10 point might do...but still almost impossible

Can we convince the Man U fans to protest enough for our game with them to be cancelled? They don't need to points to qualify for the CL so a 3 nil win for us can hope fully be arranged...

I like the style of the OP. I agree it is possible and will be willing it to be so.
Never give up.

Unlikely i agree but we are still alive.

If we were to stay up a Great Escape would have to be accompanied by the greatest of Great Collapses by the team that finished third from bottom. It is just not going to happen.

It probably isn't but we are all at the bottom because we are not good enough. There a re a few not unreasonable permutations for us but we actually have to do something we have not so far this season.... WIN a few games in a row!

RaySmith

Very unlucky not to beat Arsenal, and  pretty unlucky v Chelsea - home and away.

I feel that we are due to give a team a hiding, but winning 4 games.....

Burnley will be a very tough game for a start, they will come determined  not to concede an to go away with something.

WindyCity

Hahaha....give it up already.  This is goofy talk........

And score a good few more goals than we have done in a long while.

We Are Premier League

Based on the current odds for relegation...we have less than 2% chance of staying up.

Whitestone

Although the odds are stacked against us I wouldn't assume anything, even with a 2% chance of survival. Survival is possible and I certainly haven't seen a team that's given up.

Southdowns White

What odds would you get from the bookies of us staying up? Not that I'm going to throw any money away betting on our survival. Probably more chance of winning the lottery or being struck by lightning, Twice!

SG

Not a snowball in hell chance of staying up. Burnley will probably see to that in our next home game

you can probably get 100/1, or at least close to that...its between 1/33 and 1/100 on us getting relegated...

filham

The only doubt now is whether we finish 18th or 19th

rebel

I still believe,

but Parker still has the win 1 -0 mentality, as soon as a 'mistake' happens etc, the mindset is defending, we don't have the 'gears' to get back into the match.

Dodgin

Would be a good  escape, never the best, that was Alfie Hinds back in the Fifties.

The Glazers would love, Burnley to go down as the less team in the traditional county of Lancashire the better for them in terms of local support and the more overcrowed London is with PL clubs, the better for them too. Thanks to the Glazers the ManUnited players are all on bonus' for winning the Europa, so players know their priorities.

RaySmith

Man U, and City, already draw a lot of support away from the clubs around them, Bolton and Wigan are good examples, but the Burnley support seems to have stood up well - with their success at staying in the Prem.

I think Huddersfield got decent support  with their great achievement of being in the Prem, and staying there for a couple of seasons.
Seeing how they are today, is salutary for for Fulham fans perhaps.

I doubt the Glazers are worried about the  support given to the neighbouring clubs - they know Old Trafford will always be packed out -  fans travel there from all over the country, and the world.
