Ha! Guess I made the right decision.......

So, I've watched every FFC game this season.....EXCEPT these last two games.  I had invitations to do some other things with friends, knowing that they conflicted with game times.  I decided to avoid the games, and enjoy myself with friends and other activities.  I figured good way to avoid the aggravation.  Seems like right move, saved myself all the frustration.  Although disappointed in the results, definitely not unexpected.  Just a terrible campaign.

Oh well, there's always next season......in the Champ.

Dunstable Fulham

A very wise decision. It was very predictable. As soon as I saw the team selection I knew I shouldn't be watching but I couldn't drag myself away from it.

I have hardly watched any game's although I have the platforms to do so.Found it very odd to watch a game without a crowd I the stadiums.Done myself a favour there.

This season has broken my heart as a Fulham fan in a new way. I've experienced heartbreak, like the Europa League final and relegation, but this just feels like a massive missed opportunity. I have avoided games recently for this reason, and for my own wellbeing. Covid has taken enough of a mental toll without the need to torture myself further with disappointment. I have chosen family and friends over Fulham, which has not always been the case.

Oddly, and on a related note, this is the closest to 'giving up' on my team, if that were at all possible. I'll always be here, but Fulham (and somewhat football in general) has taken a bit of a backwards step in my life. Perhaps it will get its soul back when the fans return in full, but right now it feels a bit empty.

I could not have put it better. I cancelled my NOW Tv subscription a month ago so as not to torture myself game after game. No VAR in the Championship will be a good. Hopefully I can get back to enjoying every game win lose or draw but Parkerball is a problem and it looks like it's here to stay! Maybe just being able to sing "you don't know what you're doing" "and jeering when Ruben or Josh come on with 10 to go will cheer me up! Can't wait to see the new stand.

I have loved it

£100 @ 23/10 on Burnley was like Christmas come early
Remember you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
I will be as good as I can be and when I cross the finishing line I will see what it got me

I note many here have avoided following Cottagers to save the aggravation and promote good health and well being.  I do agree that this was a huge missed opportunity for this franchise.  As poor as they were, they should have been able to cobble up together enough points to survive this campaign.  Had they done that, I feel many good things would have resulted, not the least of which was the signing possibly of some our standout loanees (for example, Areola, Andersen), and brought in some more talent during off season and build up a team that could be a solid Prem quality team.  Now, it all goes back to baby steps and assembling building blocks and a real challenge to stay competitive in the Champ.

I've collected some big wins in the home losses to Villa & Burnley.

Burnley was the first game I'd missed; even shelled out for the PPV games including the Carabao Cup. However the predictability of Parker Ball is literally starting to depress me

I've watched every game this season except Chelsea away, and watched the first half Vs Burnley and had to switch off at half time it was that terrible. I won't be watching the last 3 'dead rubber' games. No point in it, and many of those playing won't be with us in the championship. Looking forward to next season now. Hopefully the club sort themselves out and a plan can be set out for the next couple of seasons with a view to coming back stronger next time.

Nice one, I don't gamble but I saw those odds on offer & though they seemed rather generous.

Yes, I'm feeling detached from the Cottage since my last game there against Preston, it feels a lifetime ago that AK scored his late goal. Having said that, I feel a bit detached from society in general. I really hope the return of the crowd will help the players raise their game next season.

I 've watched every game and will see it through to the end. No other way for me.

Ditto but very painful

Supporters that bet on the team they support to lose?
Hmm, best leave it there!

I've been too busy analyzing the football to enjoy it. There are some Premiership matches I've enjoyed of late, West Ham beating Burnley 2 - 1. West Ham's free flowing attacks were something to behold. It gives you a great perspective on what we should be aiming for.

As Tony Gale put it, we have pretty similar qualities to West Ham player wise. I agree, but we play 'not to lose'.

I realised we were down when that third Villa goal went in but I have watched the last four games in the hope of seeing a good Fulham performance, with goals and perhaps even a victory.

However the team have just not performed and it is hard to remember a worse end of season.

Nothing to congratulate me for.
