I kind of agree but with the team they had last season they shouldve been promoted a year earlier?

Let's all calm down and be a bit realistic.
When we went up last time, Brentford were probably the best team in the league and maybe should have been the team to go up. We all knew, if we were honest, that we would struggle in the Prem regardless of who we bought in. OK the loanees didn't help until well after Christmas, but tbh, did anyone really believe we were a squad strong enough to holder own.
I've been a fan for over 45 years and most as a STH so I think I have the experience to pass relatively unbiased
Opinion. Yes, we had many chances to save ourselves this year but sadly, bottom line, we were not good enough. Now is the time to rebuild from the roots we stil have. With a first class academy and a few of the existing squad, let's build a squad  over the next 2 seasons that will gel together as one with obviously a few changes on the way and come back better equipped. Am I a Parker out fan? I'm not too sure, but what is very clear to us all, the current management is not working. I agree with most on this forum, TK has to give the manager, whoever it may be, the reigns to pick and choose his squad. It is without doubt at the end of the day, that the manager will take the ultimate blame or credit. Going back to Brentford, we'll done to them, a good squad, well managed and a unit well run. It will be very interesting to see how they do next season, but they will need to get 3/4 experienced premier league players in to have any chance of staying up.

It's rare that the team that wins the play offs will stay up. So Brentford still have it all to do? Well done for today but it means that we do not have to play them next season. I wish them luck but on crowds of 17000 I don't see much success for very long.see you soon

I don't want to see Brentford , QPR, Chelsea do well. I said to my son as he went out to watch the champions league final tonight that a Chelsea victory would finish off a thoroughly miserable day. He agreed !
That said you have to give credit where it is due and you have to admire their structure, quality of personnel and decision making over a long period of time. Well done to Brentford. I hope they come straight back down but I have a feeling they won't.

The PL will be better for having teams like them in it rather than another Burnley who have no interest in playing football. They're well run, not like QPR and other clubs who've just thrown money that isn't theirs at big name players. They're a small club that we should be able to relate to. I expect and hope they'll now get spanked most weeks and I will celebrate their relegation in 10/11 months' time but at this point I don't mind giving them a little bit of credit.

Every day is a learning day. I absolutely didn't realise there were football supporters who supported their closest rivals. It's a very strange world we live in today.

Oh Good Grief. It absolutely is not about supporting another club. It absolutely is about being a wider local community and accepting that our friends and family may well support the local clubs that deservedly won their games today.
