What a save. Onomah did everything right there.

For all our failings we're so unlucky. Infuriating.

No extra time for that burst ball? Such poor refereeing today.

Not good enough today but it was different than Blackpool. We have been very unlucky today, we deserved more I reckon.

I thought PL refs were bad enough but these in the Championship take the biscuit.

Rubbish. It looked from the first 15 mins that we’d walk that. Squandering chances  throughout cost us dear.

So true. Everyone has been trashing Cav in the thread, but honestly, BDR let the club down big time in the 1st half. 2 incredible chances without a goal.

Too many of our players thought that they only had to turn up to win.

Is it coincidence that our two poorest finishing games had Cav starting on the left?

Blackpool...now Reading...

We fell behind and had to break open teams...yet we don't have the quality (apparently) to break down teams.  And imo Cav contributes to that.   I don't think he's the level of 'team' player that we need starting.

Impact player...but no way should he be playing 90 minutes.

Their second goal was extremely poorly defended. We were basically playing with 10 men with Cav on the pitch, one of the all time worst performances. We missed far too many clear chances.

The way we play, we really struggle when we go behind and the other team just sits back, it would almost be better to let them attack us a bit to try and counter them.

We can't really blame refs for todays results. Its was a Luke warm performance and diabolical finishing. I can't believe this side to be honest. Every time you think they're going on to big things or turning a corner, they finish like a side devoid of confidence and let in such pathetic goals.

Now we have an ex manager, unbeaten, top of the league having gained points on us when our last 3 fixtures were Blackpool, Birmingham and Reading. Thats shocking however you want to gloss it up.

You're not wrong.

Unfortunately...if a team can take Mitro AND Wilson out of the game...and we don't have our midfield key (Fabio)...I'm not sure we have enough movement or quality finishers (BDR, Cav) to come from behind.

Leeds up next.

Good observation OB.  I think you're right.
