We needed one more chance from Mitro or Harry to go in.

GAZZ was great today.

Maybe he has changed his methods, I would rather us be top than Bournemouth!

We win the two head to heads, those 4 points are made up.   We still control our own destiny.

Why is everyone saying Mitro is the best thing since sliced bread? He needed the ball to be one yard out to score… all other gold plated chances he screwed up, let’s be honest.

Well, I jinx Mitro - we cannot miss those 2 last sitters.

Full Time remarks:
- Is Robinson so much better than Bryan doesn't deserve a start?
- Is Ream any better than Mawson right now?
- Is Cavaleiro going to get minutes every game, despite being obnoxious every time he touches the ball?
- While we should have done better, we got very unlucky this game. Again.
- Mitro, in the end, costed us 3 points. He must do better, a guy with his quality.

In training instead of jogging around making 2 yard passes have some intense shooting practice. Something is wrong with the players technique.

Stats I’ve just seen say 23 shots only 6 on target, seems to be our issue at present. Never mind onto the next game

It's been our issue for seasons now. Shows how much we miss Carvhalio.

Something has happened since the international break. We just dont look like the same team. Surely Carvalho isnt that crucial to our entire gameplan?

Missing so many easy chances every game,
Why is Muniz not getting a chance
Why is Cav anywhere near the first team
Why is Christie not playing instead of Odoi
Why is Mawson not playing, we are conceding easy chances in the box several times a game at the moment
Why does the midfield suddenly look ponderous and unbalanced

Answers: 1 Debatable - is Bryan any better than Robinson? If so why.
2. Again debatable. Mawson probably the better defender but Ream is a calming influence who helps control games, but also likely to be mugged.
3. I hope not. He continually makes the wrong decisions and lacks control. He has some speed, which we seem to be lacking at present and I can see why he is brought on late in a game to keep them honest, but he is very unproductive.
4. You make your own luck.
5. "must do better" or "can do better"? He is a striker. If he wasn't scoring, he wouldn't be on the pitch. He's still our top scorer.

We are missing chances, but are they really "easy"? Mitro's effort that hit the bar wasn't easy - he worked the opportunity well; there was one that he really should have put away though. Muniz is probably not up to match fitness yet, but deserves his chance sooner rather than later. I entirely agree about Cav; he has had too many chances to show why he is worth a place and has taken none of them. I suspect there is something going on behind the scenes with Christie. I think it is time to bring Mawson in; our defence looks very static and flatfooted in the box. Could it be that the midfield needs an enforcer?
