As has been said many times before,  when Kongolo picked up his current injury the return date was given as the end of August,  so nothing has changed really, its going to be after the international break that you will get to see the real Fulham FC, in the meantime we just have to pick up whatever points we can,
Season starts for real at Blackpool.

Terrible shame about Cairney he is going to be badly missed. It is time to find a replacement play maker and captain to see us through the season.
Silva should face facts immediately and decide whether Carvalho is good enough to occupy the playmaker role and if Ream should be captain for the whole season.

2 weeks' time? Dream on

Denver Fulham

Cairney missed months of last season, had the summer off, came back and lasted one training session with Silva and now is out for weeks again. That's a bad bad bad bad bad sign about the health of his knee(s) and any kind of ability that Fulham can count on him this season.

Assuming we're offloading Anguissa and Seri, I think we're *two* central midfielders short, in addition to lacking creativity. We can't truly believe we're getting autopro with BDR, Fabio, Reed, Onomah and Francois as our midfield options.
