when will we see Muniz?

I know he's not arrived in the UK, I understand he'll arrive from Spain Tuesday, but when do you think we'll see him on the pitch?

Do you think he'll be a starter or a sub', if he's a starter who would he replace?

YouTube highlight videos aren't much to go by but if he shows this kind of form I think we're in for a treat.

Lighthouse

I think he will be on the bench to acclimatise to the Championship. Probably a gentle introduction if possible. Or if we are still in cups and things he could be a starter there.

Mind you the injury problems we are picking up he could start sooner than I expect.
The above IS NOT A LEGAL DOCUMENT. It is an opinion.

We may yet hear the horse talk.

I can stand my own despair but not others hope

Riversider

The first game he will be available for consideration will be Blackpool away .

If he arrives tomorrow that should give him time to get settled for Stoke, should be on the bench

Yep were hardly in a rush given how we've been playing and thank the lord a manager who knows how to use Mitro and motivate him.

What a prospect if Muniz turns out half as good as the Brazilian fans say he is...off the bench late  in a game...

He seems a very strong and combative player, after 70mins of mitro I can't see many defenders in this league fancying that battle late on

Mullers OG

Isn't he coming from an amber list country (Spain)?  In which case he will be in quarantine for 8 days with tests on days 2 and 8 unless he opts for the additional test on day 5. If he does and is clear as I understand the current rules he is then not required to stay in quarantine the full 8 days.

I believe he has to self isolate for 5 days once he arrives in London.

filham

His first time in England and no experience of English football.
He will take time to acclimatize and prove himself to be match fit. Also is he better than Wilson, Mitro or Kebano. May be a while before we see him in first team action.

Mullers OG

Thank you Huxley. I wasn't sure I'd got it right. Let's hope he is doubly vaccinated.

Hmmm having read about it this morning, that must be the 5-day test and release scheme. Hardly seems worth sending him to Spain for 10 days though, if he still has to quarantine for a 5 days here. Would have made more sense to come here directly from Brazil and just do 10 days quarantine. So I'm sceptical about that.

As Huxley says above, if he's somehow managed to be jabbed under a UK-recognised jab scheme then he doesn't have to quarantine at all coming from Spain, which would make the detour more understandable.

His 10 day quarantine here would have been spent in a government appointed hotel, much better for the player to do it this way, with a two week international break looming there is literally no rush,
As I said previously expect to see him in the squad at Blackpool

vancouver

Id image he will need a mini pre-season.

Give him a month to get settled, and then throw him on in garbage time when we are up to get him acclimatized to the English game.

JEEVES

Anyone else seen his surname is actually Carvalho? We got 2 😁

But his 5 days here will still be in a hotel, if correct
And with the Stoke game in the coming days patently there is a rush

Southcoastffc

Are these Wiki stats truly representative of his professional career?   If so, why the fuss about him?  Who has seen what to make us want him?

The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

He can self isolate at home, it's not quarantine,
He was never ever going to feature against Stoke, it will take weeks to integrate him into the side.
