The falling away after a fast start thing is a pure urban myth too.
In his 6 full seasons as manager (he's also had half seasons at Watford and Hull, so disregarded for purpose of these stats)
He has had better starts to the season in just 1 (ONE) of those six seasons. That's when Olympiacos won all 15 of their opening league games. In the second half of the season he didn't exactly drop away, he won 13, drew 1 and lost 1!!!!

Watching the ups and downs since 1958, wouldn't have it any other way, what a roller coaster of a club.

Must admit having a bit of a soft spot for Birmingham.  (No, absolutely no, I don't want to see them win v FFC)  But I spent a week in that city visiting an old gf and really enjoyed my time there.  Been a long time, close to 25 years ago.  Did not see any football there.  But enjoyed exploring the city and if memory serves, there was a very nice city square area that featured a large water fountain.  Spent quite a bit of time at a local pub back then, called the Dog.  Good times in Birmingham.  Anyway.....COYW!!!!

I also have a soft spot for Birmingham, it's a large swamp in Africa.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘
