 Another international beak looming

Hope this one doesn't cripple us as much as the last one...
Definately one of disadvantages of having such a good squad in the Championship I'm afraid

Fulham 442

I love your typos!  Yesterday it was Mitro's excellent Finnish!

On the other hand we might have Tete, Robinson and Carvalho back after the next international. Which should help tremendously.

Does one win in a row constitute getting our rhythm back?

Just askin'......curious.....

Oh fug "beak" haha that's what happens when you post at the crack of dawn on your phone minus your specks

I'm sure you get the gist tho

filham

We have suffered from these International Breaks as well as injuries. Funny how the injuries seem to strike twice in the same place. First it was mid field now it seems to have moved to left back.

I do believe so yes, you'll see more of it on Saturday

The travel killed us and def threw us off kilter

Eg. Tim Ream played on the Thursday, flew back and played on the Saturday,, that's not normal

Plus a few of em played 3 games = abnormal

perry geyton

Clubs below us have hardly any internationals so they know we are ripe for the picking when we get back + injuries like Filham just mentioned

Isn't that a bit like counting your chickens before they're hatched?

(I do hope you're very good at counting unhatched chickens!  COYW)

True - but a win tomorrow could put us back at the top of the table, as both West Brom (tonight) and Bournemouth have fairly difficult games this weekend.

As others have mentioned - this time it may work in our favour, with injured players coming back into the squad after the break fully fit ...

Be great to sing cheer up Jimmy Hill if that was the case

I do believe so yes, Coventry just got smashed in their previous game so they'll be bricking us going there me reckons

I never count my chickens when it comes to Fulham but I'm feeling good currently, the only downside is it's an early kick off and those games can generally be a little flat

I'm going 2-0 Fulham

Oh dear, hope you didn't make a monetary investment like some on here may have? Not me though, the result was no surprise, very disappointing and embarrassing though!

Hopefully, for you, lessons learned?  Such as:

One win in a row does NOT represent in any way, shape, or form getting 'rhythm' back.

If you never count chickens regarding FFC, then stick to it.  Don't deviate, as you did in this case.

It's never good to assume an FFC win v any opponent, no matter their position in the table or recent form.

(Hahaha...just yankin' your chain, havin' some fun.)         :003:
