That is the question?

Doesn't Mawson have to be carrying a knock since he has not been on the bench the past 2 games? Tete-Hector-Ream-Robinson is fine for the next 3 games. Tosin's silly red does take some of the shine off the result though.

Don't rule out Odoi, hehase proved himself reliable in that position.

Mokes

If Tete is back, it might even be Odoi. He is a CB after all and he has been playing quite well

This is why we have a squad to select from, you must always expect the unexpected.

We cannot play Dennis and Tim together in the centre they will be bullied and slaughtered in the air.
No square pegs in round holes. We have enough central defenders to sink a ship.

Kongolo is also now in the mix.

Thank goodness he's not out for the Bournemouth game

Don't underestimate Odoi in the air ,he has the ability to jump high and probably has a higher reach with his head than Mawson.

That last few times we played Odoi and Ream together at centre back, we were being slaughtered game after game. For me, it has to be Kongolo if he is finally at full fitness. He's a class above our other options and we need to see what he can do and if he can be a long term piece for us.

If not, I would also consider Mawson and Hector together. The looked excellent against Leeds.

Even so Odio's upper body strength like Ream is mediocre and we do not need to go down that road when we have other options.
It will be no picnic away to Blackburn Rovers and Dennis and Tim are far too lightweight together as a central defensive partnership.

Kongolo if he is really ready but otherwise Mawson for me

I reckon it'll be Hector because he's been on the bench the last two games.

We need height and arial power again for Blackburn.
They have Sam Gallagher up front who is BIG and good in the air.

Would go with Hector on the basis that he's had a successful partnership with Ream, whereas Mawson and Ream has resulted in a few disasters.

General

I'm actually edging towards Hector. He was dominant for us last time we were in the championship, as others have said has had a relationship with ream and I feel he's got more pace and height in the air, both crucial.

The Mawson In Brigade (note: I really like Mawson, but can't justify dropping Ream) have wanted Ream out of the starting eleven all season and replaced by Mawson, so now surely he has his chance to live up to the hype and hopefully stay injury free. Big Hec and Mawson are both quality and one of them should pair Ream, but whom exactly, I don't know since I have seen very little of either and am not on the training ground. Gut instinct says Hector.
Someone once asked me, "Why Fulham?".
My response, "Well, lad, you just haven't seen the light yet"

Wasn't the last few times we played them together at centre back in a back four during the unbeaten run under Jokanovic. Maybe they had an odd game together during the 18/19 season, and they also were part of a back five during a few good and a few bad results. That was however in the PL. when did we ever get slaughtered game after game with Odoi and Ream as a CB pairing? Am I misremembering something from Parker's Championship season?
