Season Pacing

Quick update, we're 15 games into the season and have 32 points. Bournemouth has 37.

If we extrapolate out at the current rate, we'd have 98 points by the end of the season. Bournemouth would have 113. While this isn't necessarily realistic, 98 points would put us as champions 6 of the last 7 years, and automatically promoted all 7.

Point being is I know we're in second place and 5 points back, but we're pacing extremely well to have 32 points from 15. Bournemouth by all statistical counts cannot keep this form up, and if we can, then I think we're near guaranteed to be automatically promoted and have a good shot at winning the league.

Long may it continue. :)

Yes long may it continue, but a week in football is a long time, and there will be injuries, illness, suspensions, loss of form, referees errors that will have an impact and with over two thirds of the season to go we have to accept that there will be more ups and downs as the higher you climb the mountain the more treacherous the path.
At least this season we are not chasing the leading pack.
Enjoy the ride wherever it takes us.

And a Mitro injury/sale away from trouble.

There is an argument that as the season progresses and all teams start getting injuries and suspensions it will help us as we are in the best position to deal with it given our squad, while other teams have to bring in players of a lesser standard we get to bring in quality championship players.

When solanko picks up a knock, Bournemouth will struggle to score. He's been their "Mitrovic" if you will. 5 points behind at this stage of the season isn't anything to worry about.
Fulham just need to keep on doing what their doing, winning games and scoring goals. Concentrate on that before worrying about what other teams are doing.

But if Mitro picks up a knock we are in the same situation. Maybe Muniz needs to start a few games (with Mitro on the bench) to get the feel of the team in case he needs to step in should Mitro get injured or suspended.

Strange. We're not going to sell mitro - he's guaranteed promotion at this level, which in itself is over 100m, not only that but our owners don't need to sell and have never put us in a position of having to, unless the offer obscene. Mitro is key to this team and just signed a new deal and ha stated he's happy here and it seems a bit far fetched to suggest that will change in January, especially as he's been promoted twice whilst with us and stayed both times we've been relegated. It's not about the name or size of the club for him.

Ryan Christie seems to be getting a few of their assists. Christie and Solanke get injured they will tumble
