First in standings.  All the pundits saying we are a lock on promotion, that no one's better.  Then we can't beat the team in last place and almost assuredly getting relegated.  We talk about how deep our bench is.  But with just a few out, we become hesitant and lose confidence.

Fernhurst

Yes, must admit didn't look anything like a Premiership team.
The atmosphere's fresh and the debate lively.

Southcoastffc

Be fair. We were without first choice keeper, Mitro and TC.  3 others have had Norovirus this week and played (Carvalho, Robinson and Reed), BDR had it and was on the bench.  That's 7 of the squad that we know about.  No wonder we were below par.
The world is made up of electrons, protons, neurons, possibly muons and, definitely, morons.

Fernhurst

Agree, Southcoast, think it will affect us on Saturday as well

Before the match it looked as if we had quality cover for every position so we were prepared for injuries.
We now know we have cover for every position except the lone striker and that is the position where we have been so strong.

Also, Derby are in last place because of points deductions. Their position is not indicative of their relative quality.

And lastly, we still were the better team and created more than enough chances to win. Just one of those nights, and in my opinion nothing much Fulhamish.

So if Many City or Liverpool don't beat the team that's bottom, are they not worthy champions? A team that wins the league doesn't win 46 games in a row, that's such a simplistic way of looking at it. For the reasons stated above there's a simple enough explanation, and we also had the highest expected goals out of any team this week which means that we were unlucky in more ways than one. It happens, move on

SP

This is the  championship, a few of us were predicting a draw before the game, I'm just relieved they didn't steal all three points.

A bit harsh to judge Muniz after a single league start, don't you think? Also, we have been very strong in several positions, it is not as if Mitro's done it all by himself. He

Agree, there was nothing Fulhamish about it. With at least 7 of our squad sick that's almost 30% of our available players. And Derby defended for their lives. We continued our unbeaten run and on another night could have won comfortably.
