Hilarious reading the Match day thread.
From the first minute to last...Moan Moan Moan.

How do you all know how much this virus has
riddled the camp, quite a bit by just looking
at their body language today.
Great point in the end,we move on.
Some of you think we're entitled to win
every match.
Everyone stop.  No criticism or objective analysis allowed then.

Well pleased.

We got through two tricky games with a squad clearly hampered by illness and irrespective of other results we are effectively at least nine points clear of whoever is 3rd at the end of the weekend.

And now with a clear week for recovery.

Woolly Mammoth

Please moaners stop moaning, we ground out a precious point away to a team that will compete all over the pitch, and their equaliser should not have stood.
We have had to contend with an energy sapping virus in the club, and we have come away unbeaten.
STOP WHINGING and pour yourselves a large Dark Rum.
Its not the man in the fight, it's the fight in the man.  🐘

Preston are a strong physical team with a good home record and there are others like them in the Championship, we have to learn how to handle such teams but really a point is possibly better than others will do.

Essential now that we get our squad free from the virus and fully fit for next Friday.

Generally agree. Always thought it was going to be a tough game. Equalizer was minimum one, possibly 2 x handball and I thought a foul on Rodak. And apart from that Preston only had one other attempt on target despite playing well in the 2nd half. Once they equalized we seemed to wake up and restored some urgency to our play. But Preston contained us well and limited us as to only a few chances. So yes, we'll take a point and move on, but not our finest day and Silva will have to consider why we looked a bit lightweight at times.

No team wins and dominates every game. Even if you put Man City in the Championship they would struggle in some games.
Coupled with a nasty virus infecting the team, we shouldn't be so harsh.  Still 9 points clear of 3rd.
The defending was quite good. Their goal was down to Rodak, I'm afraid. Simple corner, in the air a long time, floating into the 6 yard box, right in the centre of the goal. He should be cleaning everyone out to claim that ball.

Rodak was blatantly impeded before the two handballs and offside preceding their "goal."

Defending from Ream total joke.
You are talking utter crap. Was miles better than the rest of our defence. Tosin had a mare of a game.

Every team is gonna go thru some poor spells.  Many FFC players just coming off sickness, actually surprised some, if not all, played.

I think we should be happy with the away point.

Well played Fulham.  This has been a trying week.  Two points gained and no harm done to our promotion aspirations.  The sick can now take to their beds and supporters have the weekend to recover from the dire football displayed.  Friday night under the lights awaits.

Its actually fairly innocuous passage of play that caused the entire game to change. Let me explain.
For the first 25 mins or so, we were playing pretty well without creating a great deal. We had loads of possession due to being able to win the ball high up the field. Preston were gradually opting away from trying to play out to clearing it long. Then around the 25 min mark for about 5 minutes both centre backs had an absolute nightmare. Tosin lost the ball in possession about 4 times, Ream 2 or 3 times, plus he twice tried to intercept passes which he missed leaving massive space in behind (something Tosin regularly does). In those 5 minutes Preston had 3 or 4 decent attacking opportunities out of literally nothing after barely seeing the ball up until then.

That to me completely changed the game. We started to play much deeper after that, and Preston who had looked terrible at the start of the game, grew in confidence. Obviously there are other areas of the team that also didnt play well aswell.

The problem we seem to have is, for all the talk about the strength of the squad. the fringe players when they come in do nothing on the whole. Subs today were very strange aswell, and I think Marco just generally had a shocker with team selection and subs.

Misc quick points:
What does Reed offer when Seri is playing?
Tosin needs dropping for Hector.
Robinson needs dropping for Bryan.
Everyone needs a rest before the massive Friday game
